Test and Improve Internet Connection Speed-SG TCP Optimizer

There are ways that will improve your internet connection speed and things you can do all on your own. Then there are programs, like SG TCP Optimizer, that run more advanced tests to really determine the speed of your connection and how to best manipulate it so that your connection will run faster. A computer is often only as smart as the person using it and while most people know how to “hook up” the system, it doesn’t mean it is running as smoothly as it could be. SG TCP Optimizer is not particularly easy to use if you are a novice, but you can do it with a little patience.

Running the Tests

SG TCP Optimizer runs tabbed settings and tests in order to configure your connection properly. It will send out packets in order to determine your best non-fragmented area to work from. From there your system is more efficient and can communicate more clearly with the internet and the host computer. Now if these words sound foreign to you, it might be a bit of a stretch to run this program. It tests your internet connection speed but it does need data from you. The good thing is that it will walk you through the process.

Do the Research

If you do not know what all of these different hotspots do and you don’t know how to use the calculator to determine your RWIN value or run a latency test then you need to learn about these things before you set out to use the SG TCP Optimizer. It is meant for people who have more than a basic knowledge of the interconnected computer world. It isn’t hard to learn, you just have to commit to it. Once you do you will find you can diagnose and fix many problems all on your own.
